David Wales, current owner, is second generation. Bill Wales started the business in 1931...Alvis Wales, David's father joined Bill in 1937. David joined his father in 1980 after completing the jewelry program at the Texas Institute for Jewelry Technology (formerly Paris Jr. College.)

Wales specializes in diamonds... colored stones and pearl jewelry. We also have a large selection of watches and gold chains. By having an in store graduate jeweler, stone setter and watchmaker most repairs can be made in a very short time period. There is only 6-7% of repairs that have to be "sent in".

Wales specializes in "special orders" if we don't have what the customer wants...99% of the time we can have it the next day, whether its a pair of $20 earrings or a $20000 five carat marquise solitaire... customer satisfaction is a must. Wales does a lot of business with "Estate" jewelry... and antique watches.

Wales builds many of the pieces they sell and all remounts are done in the store. When the bench jeweler is the boss... you can count on quality.
